MoCA Asian Bistro, an Asian-fusion restaurant chain, will be opening a new location at the Samanea New York mall in Westbury next year.

MoCA Asian Bistro, an Asian-fusion restaurant chain, will be opening a new location at the Samanea New York mall in Westbury next year.
MoCA has leased more than 9,000 square feet of the space that is currently occupied by P.F. Chang, which is leaving the retail complex.
Founded in 2006, the MoCA chain has locations in Hewlett, Woodbury and Forest Hills.
MoCA is the third new restaurant chain that has recently signed leases at Samanea New York. Cajun eatery Hook & Reel leased more than 5,000 square feet and K-Pot, a Korean BBQ and hot pot concept, leased nearly 7,000 square feet at the end of last year.
Samanea is also adding 99 Ranch, a growing Taiwanese-American supermarket chain, which leased 45,602 square feet at the Old Country Road mall for its first Long Island location.
“MoCA has a much deserved reputation for extraordinary food, attentive service and a popular following,” Samanea New York Marketing Director David Ackerman said in a company statement. “We are delighted that they have signed a long term lease for over 9,000 square feet of space that will allow an ever growing audience to enjoy their cuisine when it opens next year under our roof.”
Dominick Coluccio, Samanea’s head of leasing, negotiated the MoCA lease directly with the chain’s owner Johnson Chen.
