Try our selected signature dishes at a celebration of the great charitable work Island Harvest does for food empowerment in Long Island
On October 25, 2022, MoCA will be counted among the great restaurateurs of Long Island in a celebration that gathers together donors and volunteers who have been supporting the mission of Island Harvest to end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island over its 30-year history.

Guests will enjoy the fine fare of over 40 Long Island restaurants while networking with members of the Long Island Business community.

Dishes we’re planning to serve include:
Appetizer: Edamame, Salmon and Tuna Tartare, Seared Three Ways with Crab, Thai Chicken Lollipop
MoCA Signature Roll: MoCA Roll, Spider Roll, Sweet Heart Roll, Golden Dragon Roll
A la carte: Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, Shrimp, Egg Custard
These dishes are selected from a menu of more than 150 recipes that we’ve been perfecting for since our founding in Long Island almost twenty years ago. They are inspired by the flavors and traditions of the great culinary hotspots of Asia, and it is all the more inspiring to serve them to Long Islanders in a celebration that helps Island Harvest do such great work.
That work includes efficient food and product collection and distribution systems, enhanced hunger awareness and nutrition education programs, a Workforce Skills Development Institute, and a wide network of community-based non-profit organizations, as well as individuals, veterans, families, and seniors directly who turn to Island Harvest for support. Island Harvest is among the region’s foremost agencies in emergency response readiness for food, product, resource distribution and support, and is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief organization.
